Pay Range
Base pay: $15.00/hr - $18.00/hr actual pay will be based on skills and experience.
About the RoleAndretti Indoor Karting & Games is seeking a Banquet Cook to join the team. The role involves planning menus, coordinating with event organizers, and overseeing the preparation and presentation of dishes to ensure a high‑quality dining experience for large numbers of guests.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning:
Collaborating with clients or event planners to create a menu that suits the occasion and meets dietary preferences or restrictions. - Food Preparation:
Overseeing the preparation of large quantities of food, often in advance, to ensure dishes are ready to be served efficiently during the event. - Kitchen Coordination:
Managing a team of kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of meals. - Quality Control:
Ensuring that all dishes meet quality standards in terms of taste, presentation, and food safety. - Adaptability:
Adjusting recipes and portion sizes to accommodate the number of guests expected at the event. - Communication:
Collaborating with catering managers, chefs, and other staff to coordinate efforts and address any issues that may arise during the event. - Stress Management:
Handling the pressure of preparing and serving large quantities of food within specified time frames, especially during high‑demand events.

Skills & Requirements- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Positive, upbeat, sociable demeanor throughout the workday.
- Ability to work varying days, nights, holidays, and weekends.
- Walk or stand for extended periods of time.
- Lift up to 15 lbs. on a regular and continuing basis.
- Perform functions requiring organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing, and stocking up to 50 lbs.
- Communicate quickly and accurately.
- Work in environments with bright, dim, or flashing lights and loud sounds.
- Manual dexterity to use and operate necessary equipment.
- Understand, follow, and maintain safety standards at all times.
