• Performs quality sleep recordings by collecting, analyzing, and integrating pertinent patient history information, preparing the patient, conducting the examination, and preparing the recording for physician interpretation.
• Implements appropriate interventions for patient safety and therapeutic needs, including continuous and/or bi-level positive airway pressure (PAP) and Oxygen administration.
• Informs the nursing supervisor and/or physician of changes in the patient’s condition or abnormalities on the recording when necessary.
• Maintains supplies and equipment for patient care and ensures an orderly and efficient system for storage and retrieval of patient information.
• Provides patient education according to established guidelines.

The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
High School Grad or Equ (Required) Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Sleep Technologist (RST) - EV Accredited Issuing Body
