Responsibilities
Provides direct service to the Village Shalom Skilled Nursing, Villa residents and families and supports assisted living residents on an as needed basis. This position provides direction and administrative coordination as a key member of the multi-disciplinary team approach to resident care, programming and services. Positively contributes to the development of a learning environment that is based on Jewish values, traditions and beliefs where residents and staff are encouraged to grow and develop.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or Gerontology or Social Service Designee certification.
- LBSW or LMSW preferred.
- One to 3 years experience working a long term care setting is preferred but not required.
- One to 3 years experience in health care, including mediation and dispute resolution is preferred but not required.
