Job Description
Exciting opportunity at Saint Luke's South Hospital for a staff Occupational Therapist in our Outpatient hand therapy program. While a Certified Hand Therapist is preferred, it is not required. Position is for Outpatient Rehab but will be cross trained in Acute Care as well.
Shift Details- Full-Time Days
- Monday-Thurs 8-4, Fri 8-12, or can do 4-9 hour days
In this role, you will evaluate client's post-impairment, injury, or disease, and create tailored occupational therapy treatment programs following physician referrals. Your interventions may encompass therapeutic exercise, functional retraining, modalities like thermal electrical treatments, splinting, and various retraining skills. Regular client reevaluations will gauge intervention effectiveness, aiding in discharge planning. As an OT, you will oversee treatment from students, technicians, or assistants, recommending care strategies to the healthcare team for seamless client rehabilitation.
Additionally, you will delegate services, provide instruction to support staff, and fulfill other duties as assigned by the manager. Join us in making a difference in our clients' lives through comprehensive occupational therapy services.

Experience:
1 year Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Occupational Therapist - Various Bachelor's Degree
