Controller, Finance & Banking, Accounting Manager

This role is responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining strong internal controls, and supporting leadership with meaningful financial insights. The position will supervise accounting staff, manage the close process, and partner with leadership across the organization.

• Lead and coordinate the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple locations, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting schedules in accordance with GAAP.
• Maintain and strengthen internal control procedures in alignment with corporate policies.
• Monitor new accounting standards and ensure timely research, evaluation, and implementation to maintain compliance.
• Oversee core accounting functions including general ledger activity, accounts payable, payroll review, billing, credit, and collections.
• Manage intercompany and shared services transactions, ensuring accurate allocation and reconciliation.
• Support both internal and external audits by coordinating documentation requests and responding to audit inquiries.
• Partner with leadership on capital project evaluations and support the financial review of capital expenditure requests.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and assist with forecasting and financial planning initiatives.
• Provide leadership and guidance to accounting staff while promoting a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required;
  Master’s degree preferred.
• Public accounting experience preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with financial systems or ERP platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
