The Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing and/or coordinating transaction tax filings and assisting with U.S. and Canadian income tax compliance.

Prepare and/or coordinate U.S. and Canadian transaction tax filings (sales/use, business and occupation, gross receipts, property and unclaimed property) and reconcile applicable general ledger accounts.
Prepare U.S. and Canadian income tax returns.
Assist with U.S. and Canadian sales/use and income tax audits.
Reconcile the tax fixed asset system.
Partner with finance and operational teams to provide guidance and ensure transaction tax compliance.
Perform other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of U.S. federal and/or state income tax compliance and concepts.
Knowledge of and experience with sales/use tax concepts is a plus.
Proficient in tax research.
High exposure to tax technology, productivity and automation tools.
Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Ability to make decisions or present a case based on facts and relevant tax law.
Seeking CPA designation preferred.
