Job DescriptionCFO & Enterprise Value – partner with Finance executives to drive enterprise value through people, processes, and technology, including modernizing finance functions, enabling digital transformations, and applying AI/GenAI solutions.
A leader who inspires clients to embrace innovation and delivers excellence. Comfortable advising CFOs, Controllers, and Finance leaders on winning strategies and transformation initiatives. Understands that Finance drives value across the enterprise and that empowered people, optimized processes, and enabling technologies are keys to success.
The Work- Help clients modernize finance functions by consulting with internal and external teams to set vision, strategy, goals, and key outcomes.
- Understand client challenges and apply leading practices to solve complex business problems.
- Serve as a subject‑matter advisor on Accenture projects and proposals, driving business development.
- Manage risk, project economics, deliverable content, and ensure client buy‑in.
- Be a trusted advisor to leadership.
- Encourage team innovation and support their career goals.
- Create strategies and blueprints using advanced operating models, processes, and emerging technologies to improve operations and redefine work.
- Oversee digital transformations, driving efficiency, effectiveness, experience, and growth through skillsets, data, operating models, automation, analytics, workflows, and enabling technology (Fin Tech apps AI/ML/GenAI).
- Identify modern technology and data solutions, sharing best practices across the industry.
- Help grow the practice through key business development activities.
- Stay current on trends, technologies, and regulations in digital finance, analytics, and the CFO ecosystem.
- Drive incremental sales by leading proposal responses and assembling requisite teams.
- Minimum 5 years of finance management consulting experience.
- Minimum 5 years of functional finance experience (Financial Close, External Reporting, Intercompany, Consolidations, Order‑to‑Cash, Invoice‑to‑Pay, etc.).
- Minimum 3 years of experience with leading finance ERP/EPM platforms (SAP, Oracle, Workday, Anaplan, One Stream).
- Minimum 3 years leading projects and/or small‑to‑mid sized teams (10‑15 people).
- Solid understanding of finance design and process best practices.
- Minimum 3 years experience in Finance function operating models and supporting structures (analytics, forecasting, core finance).
- Demonstrated ability to communicate with clients, lead workshops, document requirements, and articulate value proposition and business case.
- Strong experience in the following industries:
Banking, Insurance, Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Health, High‑Tech Industrial, or Utilities. - Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Experience with RPA, Applied Intelligence, Machine Learning, or GenAI for Finance.
- Experience with Fin Tech solutions:
Anaplan, Hyperion, BPC, OBIEE, Tableau, Fusion. - Proven engagement improvement for business, practice, or people development.
- Leadership or functional team experience on ERP implementations (SAP, Oracle, Workday).
- Experience with Finance enabling technologies (Blackline, Workiva, Trintech).
- Defined and shaped financial, management, or regulatory reporting or developed Finance Master Data strategy.
- Advanced degree (MBA) or accounting designation (CPA, CA, etc.).
