Job DescriptionInstitutional Wealth – Account Manager is primarily responsible for managing and overseeing the services delivered to IW Clients. It also serves as a backup in the Relationship Manager’s absence. This includes interaction with large clients, plan participants, attorneys, investment managers, accountants, auditors, and consultants as well as Bank Administrative and Trust Operations personnel relating to those issues. The IW – Account Manager analyzes, develops and implements solutions for extremely complex account and departmental problems and issues.
How You’ll Spend Your Time- You’ll analyze and implement solutions to complex client‑related issues. You’ll be the central hub, communicating with internal/external team members to develop a resolution and communicate that back to the client.
- You’ll manage several existing client relationships, being their go‑to for any account needs. You’ll communicate enhancements, anticipate service needs, and resolve any questions or issues.
- You’ll play a big part in the transition of new IW clients to our system. This will require working with prior service providers, organizing the transfer of assets and record‑keeping data, and reviewing and drafting all legal and other documents required.
- You’ll attend client meetings and present information and reports during formal review presentations. You’ll be responsible for gathering the necessary information and compiling analytical data in preparation for these reviews.
- You’ll know the responsibilities of the Relationship Manager and serve as a backup in their absence.
This level of knowledge is normally acquired through completion of a Bachelors degree and 3‑5 years related experience; or 9‑11 years related work experience in Retirement or Institutional Trust Services, trust, legal or investment environment.
