Title of the Position:
Consumer Credit Servicing Representative

Schedule:

8-hour shift, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday, No weekends

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced customer service representative at our law firm in Overland Park, KS. In this role, you will work directly with consumers to meet their needs.

• Provide excellent customer service to create memorable experiences.
• Advise customers of necessary actions and strategies for debt repayment.
• Answer customer questions regarding problems with their accounts.
• Arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules based on customers' financial situations.
• Locate and notify customers of delinquent accounts by mail or telephone, and talk with customers at payment windows.
• Perform miscellaneous clerical duties such as answering correspondence and drafting letters.
• Perform skip tracing to locate assets and consumers.
• Negotiate repayment with consumers by form of payment in full, settlements, and/or payment arrangements to ensure a positive resolution and client satisfaction.

• Two years of collection and skip trace experience preferred, but not required.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, active listening, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, goal-oriented team environment while ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Must be flexible and adaptable to changing business needs. Strict attention to detail and the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Maintain a calm demeanor when confronted with difficult situations.
• Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office.
• Candidates will be required to undergo a background check and drug screening.
