This Civil Site Tech role supports engineering and design teams by producing accurate, high-quality civil site deliverables using Autodesk Civil 3D and related digital design tools. The position functions in a project engineering technician capacity under general direction, translating established civil design practices into constructible drawings and models that align with mission critical project goals. This is a contract assignment through NESC Staffing with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
Key Responsibilities- Create and modify moderately complex civil site designs using foundational civil engineering principles and established design practices
- Build and manage proposed grading surfaces and plan development packages in Civil 3D
- Develop pipe networks and generate plan and profile deliverables
- Create, maintain, and revise technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables using CAD and 3D modeling tools
- Support internal coordination with engineering and design stakeholders to ensure deliverables are complete, consistent, and aligned with scope
- Provide technical guidance and help maintain quality and consistency across project outputs, as needed
- Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D experience, including proposed grading surfaces, plan development, pipe networks, and plan and profile production
- Minimum 5 years of related civil/site design or civil engineering technician experience
- Demonstrated ability to produce detail-oriented, high-quality deliverables and follow established drafting and design standards
- Experience supporting mission critical site projects
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and coordination with multi-discipline teams
