The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years related work experience. Experience in Structural design is required.

Required software skills:
Bentley Open Buildings, Auto Desk AutoCAD, Bentley Microstation 2D/3D, Bluebeam.

Under general supervision, supports engineering teams by performing technical tasks that require an intermediate understanding of engineering principles and practices. Utilizes digital tools and design software (e.g., CAD, BIM, 3D modeling) to create, modify, and maintain technical documentation, drawings, and project deliverables. May begin to provide technical guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineering technicians.

• Maintain and apply engineering standards, systems, document control, departmental guides and policy procedures.
• Proactively apply quality program to ensure deliverables are accurate and compliant.
• Broadening the use of applications to evaluate and improve methods, processes and procedures.
• Create and develop deliverables based on a variety of design inputs and perform basic computations such as material quantity estimates and dimensional checks.
• Assist in coordinating deliverables with other groups involved on the same project to minimize interference or errors.
• Focus on internal client needs while gaining basic understanding of external client interests.
• Proactively seek and share knowledge of latest technologies and processes.

• Diploma or Certificate.
• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology.
• Typically a minimum of 3 years related work experience.
