Overview
The Part-Time Elementary Librarian supports the academic mission of Heritage Christian Academy by managing the elementary library, promoting literacy, and assisting students and teachers in accessing age-appropriate resources. Responsibilities include maintaining the library collection, supporting classroom instruction through resource coordination, supervising student library use, and fostering a love of reading within a Christ-centered educational environment.
Responsibilities- Maintain the elementary library collection and ensure resources are organized and accessible.
- Support classroom instruction through resource coordination and collaboration with teachers.
- Supervise student library use and promote a culture of reading.
- Foster a love of reading within a Christ-centered educational environment.
- Experience in library services, education, or related field preferred.
- Ability to work with elementary students and staff to support literacy and learning goals.
- Commitment to a Christ-centered educational environment.
