Teaching Assistant – Infants/Toddlers

Join the B’nai Jehudah Child Development Center, a partnership between the Jewish Community Center of Greater Kansas City and the Temple Congregation B’nai Jehudah. We offer full‑time preschool care for children 12 months to 2 years and full‑time infant care for ages 6 weeks to 1 year.

Part‑time:
Monday‑Friday, 12:30 pm – 5:30 pm.

• Hourly rate $16–18 / hr

• Provide for the health and safety of all children in the school
• Treat children with dignity, respect, and compassion at all times
• Support teachers through lesson‑plan implementation, daily cleaning tasks, and supervision of children
• Cultivate and maintain a positive relationship with parents
• Maintain KDHE requirements in classrooms at all times
• Attend training and professional development as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience working with children (preferred)

Job requires frequent standing, walking, carrying, and repetitive motions (2‑5 hours per shift), occasional sitting (up to 2 hours per shift), lifting up to 20 pounds, pushing/pulling, climbing, and stooping/crouching.
