Customer Service Representative - Logistics
The Customer Service Representative is responsible for managing inbound telephone inquiries related to logistics, with a primary focus on the delivery of online orders and assembly services. This role requires a strong commitment to customer advocacy, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions to inquiries while maintaining a high standard of professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Respond promptly and courteously to inbound customer calls regarding order delivery and assembly services.
- Act as a customer advocate by actively listening, identifying needs, and providing clear, accurate information.
- Research and resolve customer inquiries efficiently by coordinating with internal departments and external partners as necessary.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of all customer interactions and resolutions in the designated systems.
- Uphold company standards for customer satisfaction by demonstrating empathy, professionalism, and problem‑solving skills.
- Adhere to established policies, procedures, and performance metrics to ensure service excellence.
- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in customer service, preferably in a logistics or e‑commerce environment.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time‑management abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in computer systems and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Experience with LTL, FTL, or hub‑and‑spoke linehaul operations.
