This Construction Project Manager position involves overseeing the installation and execution of pre-fabricated structures in the industrial/heavy commercial sector, serving as the primary liaison between clients, installation teams, and internal resources to ensure projects are completed from shipment to acceptance. The role requires coordinating site activities, resolving issues, and maintaining safety standards, contributing to efficient project delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as main point-of-contact and liaison between clients and installation crews or subcontractors.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (administrative, estimating, engineering, manufacturing) to coordinate product installation activities.
  • Engage clients in jobsite planning, including site prep, equipment/crane usage, and safety requirements.
  • Coordinate subcontractor schedules and resolve on-site issues, including quality problems or vendor concerns.
  • Develop crane work scopes, request bids, and create critical lift plans.
  • Support bidding activities, attend kickoff/progress meetings, and provide project status reporting.
  • Manage material delivery, costs through back charges/change orders, and subcontractor scope development.
  • Educate on installation methods and technologies; use ERP and other tools for planning.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procedures and execution standards.
  • Enforce safety rules and ensure customer satisfaction through project closeout.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2-year degree in construction science, construction estimating, or construction management (preferred).
  • Certifications:

    None specified; safety-related certifications a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in general construction knowledge and erection of pre-engineered structures.
  • Prefer 2-3 years' experience with bolted and welded tanks, aluminum geodesic domes, and flat covers.
  • Ability to read/interpret construction drawings; excellent verbal/written skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, customer service, organizational, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Self-motivated team player; reasoning ability for problem-solving.
  • Proficient in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, Outlook, SharePoint) and CRM software.
  • Physical demands:
    Walk on uneven terrain, climb heights, lift 50 lbs.; work in fast-paced environment.
