Childcare Center Cook

We are seeking a Childcare Center Cook to join our team at New Horizon Academy.

Hourly Wage: Starting at $16.85/hr, with increases based on relevant experience.

HIRING BONUS ELIGIBLE*

• Be able to work full‑time, Monday‑Friday, from 7:00am–4:00pm.
• Have a positive work ethic and a team‑centered attitude.
• Be comfortable working with food allergies/restrictions.
• Enjoy working in a child‑centered environment.
• Be willing to learn.
• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Delight in the beautifully equipped dining facilities and support from knowledgeable staff.
• Support children’s nutritional needs and promote healthy eating habits.

• Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
• Has previous experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• Is eligible to work in the United States and can provide proof of identity.
• Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties.
• Can communicate effectively with children, families, and staff, and understands state licensing regulations.
• Can satisfy the applicant background study required by state regulations.
