Compensation Analyst, Business

The Compensation Analyst supports QTS's People Services Operations compensation function. This role assists with compensation administration, reporting, and ad‑hoc requests and inquiries.

• Conduct benchmarking for new and existing jobs by reviewing the job evaluation and market data.
• Gather data from market‑based compensation surveys; use data analysis techniques to assess results and market trends.
• Review compensation actions in Workday, ensuring internal equity and consistency with job leveling.
• Assist with annual and mid‑year compensation process administration in Workday.
• Support Business Partners with various requests and provide consultation to assist with business needs.
• Track, research, and resolve compensation‑related queries.
• Support administration of existing compensation plans.
• Participate in salary surveys and analyze data from survey sources to determine competitiveness.
• Utilize and maintain Pay Factors for survey administration, job benchmarking, and reporting.

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong proficiency using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions, etc.
• Four or more years of experience with compensation and/or sales commissions.
• Proficiency in organizing, summarizing, and analyzing large data sets.
• Ability to create elegant, efficient, and effective compensation and financial models, budgets, reports, and presentations.
• Experience administering sales commission plans.

• Experience with Pay Factors software.
• Experience with Workday.
• Experience with commissions or development bonus administration.

• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
