The Business Development Manager will focus on creating and sustaining key partnerships for our loyalty and appreciation program, T-Mobile Tuesdays, while collaborating with and supporting the overall vision of leadership. To be successful, this position will work closely with the Loyalty Marketing team to deliver brand partnerships that align with the marketing strategy focusing on customer needs for both near-term and long-term goals.
Success is measured by the ability to create and sustain valuable partnerships and contribute to strategic business development. The work impacts the organization by expanding market presence and enhancing customer and partner engagement. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-driven professional with the ability to think broadly and strategically to bolster T-Mobile's business. You will deliver results and recommendations to drive critical acquisition and partnership decisions.
- Structure and drive strategic partnerships and new business relationships including development of key economic, business, and operational terms; negotiate and execute contracts with these partnerships; and manage their evolution as requested by T-Mobile Tuesdays and leadership.
- Scout, identify and/or create new business opportunities and partnerships: a) identify and analyze complex market/business opportunities, b) evaluate key players and technologies, c) assess customer and market opportunities, d) create potential economic/financial/business models, e) make T-Mobile recommendations, and f) develop business relationships to create new strategic partners.
- Manage senior-level relationships with internal customers and with key players in a variety of industries - both in established and emerging segments and ecosystems.
- Develop deep domain expertise in sectors vital to T-Mobile's core strategy.
- Generate innovative deal structures and creative partnership concepts to fuel T-Mobile Tuesdays growth in a fast-paced business development environment.
- Provide strategic analysis and guidance (economic/financial, customer and market opportunities, key players and technologies, potential business models, T-Mobile fit, etc.) for a multitude of sectors and domains.
- Bachelor's Degree and 4-7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Required)
- Relevant areas of study include Business, Marketing, Finance or related field (Preferred)
- 4-7 years - Business development, alliance management, and/or strategic sales experience with financial/economic analysis preferably in consumer-focused wireless, high-tech (software, internet/new media, entertainment/content, etc.) or consumer electronics industries.
- Telecommunications industry experience is highly desirable.

Base Pay Range
: $90,100 - $162,600
Corporate Bonus Target
: 15%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee's eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
