Workshop Mechanic

We work on huge variety of 4x4 vehicles from around the world, therefore, we are looking for individuals with experience in this area. Summary We are seeking for a skilled Mechanic and/or Bodyshop Technician to join our busy workshop. You will play a vital role in maintaining and customizing 4x4 vehicles, ensuring each build meets our high standards and customer expectations.

Responsibilities Modifying vehicles to customer requirements, including, but not exclusive to bumpers, winches, canopies, brakes, underbody armour, suspension upgrades, roof tents, etc Auto-electrical work- diagnostics, wiring, making bespoke wiring harnesses Preparing vehicle for and applying underbody wax treatment (Dinitrol) General servicing and repairs Conduct full vehicle examinations and identify non-routine issues, faults, defects while in the workshop, as well as during a road test MIG Welding Preparation and repair of bodywork to primer stage Keeping work area clean and tidy Keeping detailed records of all work done on each vehicle Ensure all work complies with safety standards and quality procedures.

Personal Qualities Positive, can-do attitude Ability to work on own initiative with minimal supervision Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, logic and common sense in regard to work methods applied to achieve high quality results Honesty with high levels of integrity Thoroughness and ability to work with defined processes and guidelines Qualifications/ Experience Required Mechanic- fully qualified, experience 3 years (preferred) Auto electrical (1 year preferred) Welding- fully qualified (1 year preferred) Full UK drivers licence (required)
