We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery to join our dedicated healthcare team in Ottumwa, Iowa . This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who is passionate about womens health, patient-centered care, and supporting mothers and families through one of lifes most meaningful experiences.

As an L&D RN , you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, safe, and supportive care to expectant mothers throughout the labor, delivery, and recovery process. You will collaborate with physicians, midwives, and fellow nurses to ensure the best possible outcomes for both mother and baby.

• Provide direct patient care to women during all phases of labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being, documenting and communicating findings to the care team.
• Administer medications, IVs, and pain management interventions as ordered.
• Educate and support patients and families through labor, delivery, and newborn care.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and evidence-based nursing practices.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Iowa Registered Nurse License or active compact state RN license with eligibility to practice in Iowa.
• Current BCLS (Basic Cardiac Life Support) certification .

• Prior experience in Labor and Delivery ,
  OB/GYN , or Womens Health nursing .
• ACLS, NRP, or AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certifications (or willingness to obtain).
