JBS Pork offers premium fresh natural products and innovative ready-to-cook options. JBS is hiring for quality, motivated people to join the production floor as general laborers.

• Use an assortment of knives, steel, and a hook to perform job tasks.
• Keep knives sharp and develop knife-sharpening skills; ask for assistance if needed.
• Operate heavy equipment and bag and box product.
• Must use proper personal protective equipment effectively.
• Expected to work hands-on at high speed and lift over 50 pounds.
• Maintain clean work areas and follow proper food safety protocols.
• Adhere to JBS specifications to ensure meat quality.
• May shave or wash animal meat before packing.
• Inspect meat or meat products and packaging.
• Stay aware of surroundings and notify a supervisor of hazards.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Report to work every day at the scheduled start time.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Follow supervisors’ and managers’ instructions.
• Work with others and get along with others.
• Work to the best of your abilities and have the desire to learn and grow.

• Production and maintenance settings; exposure to chemicals, machinery, and knives.
• Slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud ambient noise.
• Ability to work 50+ hours; good attendance and safety records.

• Lifting/pushing/pulling 10–50 lbs. production; heavy to very heavy work as described.
• Neutral wrist and repetitive hand motions; reaching for product on conveyors.
• Standing for long periods (8–10 hours/day, 6 days/week; 7 days as needed per schedule).

• Internal:
  Employees on the production line and plant management.
• External: USDA and Union.

The schedule for this position is typically Mon–Fri. Weekend work required as scheduled. During the fall season, Saturdays are typically scheduled.
