JBS is hiring quality‑minded, motivated people to join the production floor as general laborers.

• Work in areas where livestock is being processed (killing) and in environments with temperatures near or below freezing (coolers, loading dock freezers).
• Work in areas with unpleasant odors and in damp or cold conditions (20–30 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Work in areas that may be hot (up to 104 degrees on the kill floor) and in environments requiring lifting, pulling, or pushing up to 50 lbs.
• Work with sharp knives or cutting tools; perform tasks safely and use required PPE.
• Be willing and capable of overtime during peak seasons (heavy season: August–February) and be available to work day and night shifts, including Saturdays.
• Adjust to a fast-paced work environment with repetitive motions and body movements.
• Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety protocols; adhere to JBS product specifications to ensure meat quality.
• Inspect meat or meat products and/or packaging; remain aware of surroundings and report hazards to a supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Physical demands include lifting/pushing/pulling up to 50–100 lbs, standing for extended periods, and working in production and maintenance settings.
• Exposure to chemicals, machinery, knives, slippery floors, cold temperatures, and loud noise.
• Ability to work 50+ hours and maintain good attendance and safety records.

• Report to work at scheduled start times and follow all company policies.
• Follow supervisors’ and managers’ instructions and work collaboratively with others.
• Demonstrate a desire to learn, grow, and perform to the best of your abilities.

• Internal:
  Employees on the production line and plant management.
• External: USDA and Union.

The schedule for this position is typically Mon–Fri with weekend work as scheduled. During the Fall season, Saturdays are typically scheduled.
