Acts as the agency's Janitor under the supervision of the Director of Maintenance. This position is essential to the overall success of the organization and requires a high level of accountability. This position will work closely with the maintenance team to maintain the cleanliness and safety of our facilities inside and outside. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple changing priorities and ability to work independently s position requires travel to carry out janitorial duties at all First Resources properties.

Director of Maintenance

• Responsible for cleaning which includes sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors, as well as dusting furniture, blinds, and windowsills.
• Responsible for sanitizing, disinfecting surfaces and restroom.
• Responsible for collecting and disposing of all removal trash from each location.
• Responsible for minor repairs such as changing light bulbs and unclogging toilet.
• Must be available during inclement weather, flood, or fire emergencies.
• The ability to clearly communicate in oral and written fashion is required.
• Responsible to maintain the highest level of confidentiality always.
• Performs other related duties as required to accomplish the objectives of the position, as assigned.
• Safety:
  Following safety rules and precautions.
• Responsible for inventory: monitoring inventory levels for cleaning supplies, tools and equipment.
• Reporting on any major maintenance and cleanliness issues to management.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• OSHA 10-Hour certification within 6 months of employment.
• Must be able to traverse stairways, climb ladders, and work at high elevations.
• Able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without restrictions in the course of daily work.
• Ability to keep a set schedule within the workweek.
• Operation hours of 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday.
• Good organizational skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Must have valid driver's license and personal auto insurance as required by the State of Iowa and be insurable under the company's insurance.
