How You ll Contribute- Measures lung capacity and analyzes blood samples using a blood gas analyzer; may perform bedside PFTs, EKGs, and tobacco-cessation education as ordered.
- Delivers ordered respiratory therapies; monitors, records, and communicates patient condition and response to treatment.
- Responds to codes and emergent calls; assesses patient condition and provides appropriate interventions.
- Evaluates and contributes to respiratory care policies and procedures based on outcomes, research, and best practices.
- Educates patients and families on illness, treatments, device use, and community resources.

- Education:
Bachelor s Degree in Respiratory Therapy required. - License:
Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) license in state of practice. - Certifications:
BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP preferred.
