The Manager of Outpatient Services is responsible for the oversight of all clinical treatment programmes for patients receiving treatment for psychiatric and substance‑use issues in the outpatient setting. The Manager ensures that high‑quality clinical care is provided, that clinical functions are integrated, and that discharge planning achieves an optimal post‑IOP/PHP transition. The Manager supervises family and group counselling, develops, implements, and supervises a variety of therapeutic treatment modalities, and ensures that clinical documentation is current, accurate and meets all regulatory and other standards.
- Responsible for ensuring that company‑approved programmes are implemented and consistently provided.
- Provides oversight to therapists and offers feedback through performance evaluation, supervision, training, and, if necessary, counseling.
- Ensures that all interventions (individual, group, and family therapy) are performed and documented according to professional clinical standards.
- Conducts regular audits of patient charts to ensure compliance with Lifepoint and regulatory agency requirements.
- Actively participates in survey activities (TJC, Medicare, and licensing).

- Education:
Master’s Degree from an accredited school of social work or qualification by education and experience in the social‑services needs of patients with psychiatric and substance‑use issues. - Experience:
Previous experience in outpatient healthcare is required; knowledge of psychiatric and chemical‑dependency treatment principles is required. - License:
- Current, unencumbered Clinical Social Work or Counseling Licence.
- CPR Certification and Crisis Prevention Training (CPI) or Handle with Care (HWC) within 30 days of employment and prior to any patient contact.
- Any additional state‑specific licence requirements.
