Part Time 24 hours a week

Shift: Nights

* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, psychosocial, environmental, and developmental health status.
* Administer prescribed medications and treatments safely, monitor patient responses, and document all related activities accurately.
* Document patient assessments, care plans, interventions, and outcomes in medical records to ensure continuity of care.
* Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and preventive care.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers, specialists, and support staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive care delivery.
* Respond promptly and appropriately to emergency situations to stabilize and provide necessary care to patients.
* Monitor patient status continuously, noting any significant changes or concerns, and report findings to the healthcare team.
* Assist healthcare providers during patient examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary data and materials are prepared.
* Promote a safe environment by identifying and addressing potential safety hazards for patients, visitors, and staff.
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives, monitor patient outcomes, and contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
* Supervise and delegate tasks to unlicensed personnel based on their competence and scope of practice, ensuring safe and efficient care delivery.

High School Grad or Equiv (Required), Technical/Vocational School (Required)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic EKG Certification (BEKG) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, IV Certified (IV) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Non Violent Crisis Intervention Program - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, S.T.A.B.L.E.
