Responsibilities- JOB SUMMARY:
Perform entry level QA duties related to the quality function regarding product testing. - Essential Duties, Responsibilities and
Competencies:
Include the following. Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager. - Maintain a quality orientation, attention to detail, ability to work within a team, take direction from supervisory personnel, be able to take constructive criticism, and work toward continuous improvement.
- Read and interpret documents (blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to inspect parts after multiple stages in manufacturing to precision tolerance and company specifications.
- Utilize a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection of parts.
- Perform, when required, Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification and act in accordance with data output.
- Meet and maintain productivity levels and quality requirements in support of departmental standards, goals, and schedules.
- Perform record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follow safety regulations.

This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Ottawa, KS location.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. - Mathematical
Skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. - Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Computer
Skills:
Proficient in the use of Excel and Word Processing software. - Education and/or
Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Education and job experience should be relevant to a manufacturing quality function with basic skills dealing in manufacturing, engineering, or computer processing.
- Language
