• JOB SUMMARY:
  
  Perform entry level QA duties related to the quality function regarding product testing.
• Essential Duties, Responsibilities and
  
  Competencies:
  
  Include the following. Other duties as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Maintain a quality orientation, attention to detail, ability to work within a team, take direction from supervisory personnel, be able to take constructive criticism, and work toward continuous improvement.
• Read and interpret documents (blueprints, drawings, or manufacturing work orders) to inspect parts after multiple stages in manufacturing to precision tolerance and company specifications.
• Utilize a full range of precision measuring and gauging tools to perform inspection of parts.
• Perform, when required, Statistical Process Control (SPC) checks per specification and act in accordance with data output.
• Meet and maintain productivity levels and quality requirements in support of departmental standards, goals, and schedules.
• Perform record keeping, data entry, housekeeping, and follow safety regulations.

  This role is required to be on-site 5 days at the Ottawa, KS location.

    Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and understand blueprints.
  • Computer
    
    Skills:
    
    Proficient in the use of Excel and Word Processing software.
  • Education and/or
    
    Experience:
    
    High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Education and job experience should be relevant to a manufacturing quality function with basic skills dealing in manufacturing, engineering, or computer processing.
