Expected pay for this position is $31.49 - $50.64/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an hourly position.
OverviewPOSITION SUMMARY:
The Lead Technologist of Diagnostic Imaging is responsible for the daily operations of the Radiology Department at the hospital. The Lead Technologist will coordinate the activities of Mission Partners performing Admissions/Registration and Medical Imaging procedures in addition to ensuring provision of high quality services and compliance with department, Medical Center, and third-party requirements. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Licenses/Certifications: Current Active ARRT (R) or ADRMS certification
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS
- Experience: 2 years of experience in Radiologic Technology and knowledge of CT, Diagnostic, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, and/or Ultrasound procedures at a staff tech level.
- Basic knowledge of operations and coordinating staff schedules to meet the demands of the department.
- Ability to critically think, respond appropriately to stressful working environment, and support strategic alignment with leadership.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle problems on an independent basis.
- Good organizational skills.
- Interpersonal skills necessary in order to interact effectively with patients, co-workers, and outside agencies.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience:
Previous experience in lead or supervisory capacity is desirable. - Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Leadership or Radiological Technology.
