Tomlinson is Eastern Canada’s leader in environmental, construction and transportation infrastructure services. This position involves operating a Boom truck. The successful candidate would be working at Tomlinson Material Supply and Logistics (MSL) location, located on 3150 Rideau Road.

RESONSIBILITIES:
Operate and drive primarily straight trucks to transport goods and materials mainly on local routes and short inter-urban routesPerform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle such as condition of equipment, and loading and unloading of cargoPerform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals, and brakesEnsure cargo is secured properly in accordance with safety requirements and follow safety procedures for transporting goods and equipment.Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumptionCommunicate with dispatcher, other drivers and customers using communication devices and on-board computersMay perform emergency roadside repairsPerform mandated daily safety and maintenance checks on truckOperate equipment in a safe and efficient manner in order to minimize the risk of injury and property damageREQUIREMENTS:
Valid AZ or DZ Driver’s LicenseAbility to work flexible hours including occasional weekends and being on call1-2 years’ experienceExperience in with operating a Boom Truck is considered assetCompensation Information:
The expected hourly rate range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00. Placement within the range is dependant on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience.TOMLINSON OFFERS
