Voyago is hiring School Bus Drivers for our Ottawa locations. (Stittsville, Dunrobin, Kanata, Barrhaven, Nepean and west end of Ottawa)
This is a split shift (2 hours in the morning and 2 hours in the afternoon) so being CLOSE to our school coverage area is essential.
Your role:
You are responsible for safely transporting what we call “the most precious cargo” to and from schoolEnsure students’ safety while boarding and exiting buses.Be responsible for performing pre/post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure optimal vehicle safety.Help fuel and maintain the cleanliness of the bus. #OTTSCHOOLRequirements
Your profile
You are safety focusedYou hold a valid minimum full Ontario G class drivers license, Preference will be given to B class drivers.You are 21 years of age or over.You possess clean driving record and criminal record search with vulnerable sector screeningYou have a sound knowledge of the Ottawa West region and surrounding areasYou have the ability to work independentlyYou are available for the required split shifts of 4-5 hours total, that could run:
Monday - Friday between 6:30am - 9:30am and 1:30pm - 5pm.You possess solid communication skills. There will be a pre-hire driving skills and radio communication assessment.Your location
