Location: Ottawa, ON, Canada.

Summary: The Operations Supervisor will manage the flow of work to ensure all shipments are efficiently processed, recovered and dispatched to meet time‑critical deadlines required by clients. Oversight includes customer service and order intake, dispatch, customer inquiries and escalations, and warehouse functionality.

Reports To: Operations Manager.

• Lead and supervise a team to achieve optimal performance.
• Assist with the development and monitoring of KPIs, and analyse repetitive operational problems.
• Monitor all shipments daily to ensure they are collected and delivered within agreed time‑frames.
• Work with customers to ensure that collection requirements are met and keep them informed to provide visibility.
• Communicate with all offices and local service providers to ensure efficient logistics transfer and meet desired turnaround times.
• Maintain shift patterns to meet the 24/7 coverage requirement.
• Develop skills in preparation of the operations manager position, including managing customer and workflow escalations, market analysis, and key financial and performance indicators to support business objectives.

• Experience supervising a customer service/dispatch environment.
• Previous transportation/logistics experience required.
• Experience in same‑day delivery is a plus.
• Flexibility in working hours to support weekend and 24/7 coverage.
• Ability to travel up to 20%.
• Preferred bilingual – English/French.
