Pickleball Coach

Overview

Altea Active Ottawa is seeking an energetic and knowledgeable Pickleball Coach to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about the sport, enjoys teaching players of all levels, and thrives in a community driven environment.

• Deliver engaging and structured pickleball lessons
• Lead social play sessions and clinics
• Support skill development, confidence, and enjoyment for all players
• Create a welcoming and inclusive environment on the courts
• Uphold Altea’s service standards and community values
• Collaborate with the Pickleball Leadership Team on programming and events

• Minimum Level 1 coaching certification from an accredited body
• Minimum three years of playing experience
• Experience in other racquet sports is an asset
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach beginners through advanced players
• Comfort leading both private lessons and group sessions
• Professional, positive, and reliable

• A coach who brings energy and enthusiasm to every session
• Someone who can balance instruction with fun and community building
• A leader who models sportsmanship and respect on and off the court
• A team player who takes pride in creating great member experiences
