Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET)

Warner Bros. Discovery is looking for an experienced Senior Software Developer in Test (SDET) to join its Global Quality Assurance (GQA) team, delivering shift‑left quality across its entertainment brands.

We’ll be working with stream‑centric applications across platforms such as Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV, LG TV and gaming consoles, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

• 5+ years of experience in test activities across release pipelines – unit, regression, UI/ API testing, and other testing activities to promote artifacts from dev to prod.
• Strong experience with streaming workflows across platforms:
  Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, Android TV, Samsung TV, LG TV and gaming consoles.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, or JavaScript.
• Strong ability to analyze logs, crash and error reports to triage issues.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and test management tools.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes of failures, and drive resolution.
• Perform code reviews and mentor junior SDETs and QA engineers.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Git Hub Actions).
• Solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies.
