This is a temporary position of a duration of 13 months. What you’ll do:
- Respond to inquiries primarily from incoming telephone calls from various clients and stakeholders on topics such as mortgage insurance products, guidelines, policies and processes.
- Support the underwriting team with administrative tasks.
- Assess needs and offer advice, support and alternative solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Provide policy interpretation specific to the client's inquiry.
- Assist stakeholders with submitting mortgage loan insurance applications, including providing solutions to submission errors and processing manual applications.
- Process and make decisions on progress advance requests within risk assessment authorities.
- Request and monitor appraisal requests.
- Ensure service level commitments are met.
- Post-secondary education in administration.
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience in the mortgage and/or lending industry.
- Demonstrated experience in client service.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both official languages (French and English).
- Strong time management, prioritization and organizational skills.
- An ability to listen to client's needs to customize responses and provide advice to reflect specific situations.
- An ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work shifts, including Saturdays.
- Work experience in a call centre environment.
