Job Title

Roofer – Dexterra Petawawa Team – Petawawa, Ontario, Canada (Contract)

• Install roofing materials – membrane, shingles, steel.
• Apply insulation, flashing and capping.
• Retrofit venting and terminations.
• Read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Estimate required materials and delegate tasks based on priority and deadline.
• Work with commercial T&G, EPDM, rubber and TPO flat roofs.
• Repair, maintain, and inspect for leaks.
• Operate tools such as air nailers, chop saws, table saw, circular saw.
• Supervise, mentor and train junior team members.
• Ensure all safety precautions and quality standards are met.

• Prior roofing experience.
• Certificate of working at heights.
• Ability to read drawings, plans and blueprints.
• Perform heavy manual labor, including lifting up to 45 lbs.
• Manual dexterity in both hands and feet for lifting overhead, climbing, and working in confined spaces.
• Walk 2–4 km per day on various surfaces.
