Cummins is looking for a Service Administrator to complete its service team in Ottawa, Ont.
The successful candidate for this role will serve as the first point of contact with our customers to promote quality customer service and assist with increasing business within the branch location.
Responsibilities- Serve as the first point of contact with customers either on the phone or at the branch, developing positive relationships with key customers.
- Assess customers’ needs and gather pertinent information.
- Create basic work orders in appropriate systems.
- Provide status updates to customers as requested.
- Assist the administrative team with administrative duties as required.
- Act as a liaison with technicians, parts, and customers.
- Work Monday‑Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with flexibility to work at both Ottawa locations.
- High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent that such experience meets applicable regulations.
- Local driver’s licence verification required.
- Must have significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on‑the‑job experience.
- Customer service experience is mandatory.
- Experience in automotive, agriculture, industrial equipment or similar fields considered an asset.
- Comfortable working with various software including Microsoft Suite, BMS, and Field Aware.
- Strong problem‑solving skills.
- Positive attitude and a customer‑focused mindset.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Bilingual (English/French) – this is a requirement.
- Strong team‑player with a collaborative approach.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail when entering and updating work orders.
- Working hours:
Monday‑Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm. - Position requires flexibility to work at both Ottawa locations.
- Salary starts at CAD 64,800 annually, depending on experience.
- Position is a backfill.
