Life & Financial ProducerMac Donald Search Group has been asked by our
insurance brokerage client to find a first-class
Life & Financial Producer to join their team in
Ottawa, Ontario (hybrid / remote). The primary responsibility of this role will be to build, grow, and retain a profitable book of life, health, and financial insurance business while acting as a trusted advisor to clients.
Some of what you will do in this role includes:Prospect, generate, and close new life, health, and financial insurance businessBuild and manage your own book of business with a strong focus on retention and renewalsRecommend tailored coverage solutions based on each client’s needs and goalsDeliver a seamless, professional client experience from quote through policy placementIdentify cross-sell opportunities across the brokerage’s full product offeringYou should have the following in your background to apply:Valid LLQP license with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in Life & Health insurance salesProven sales performance, including at least $15,000 FYC in each of the past two yearsStrong knowledge of life and financial products (life insurance, segregated funds, group benefits, retirement planning)Entrepreneurial mindset with strong prospecting, closing, and relationship-building skillsTech-savvy and comfortable using CRM systems and modern digital sales toolsWhat’s in it for you:Commission-only compensation with uncapped earning potentialCompetitive new business and renewal commission structureOwnership of your book of business with long-term residual incomeDedicated service team support so you can focus on selling and advisingFlexible work arrangements (hybrid or remote) and strong technology enablement
