Position OverviewAs a Vehicle Purchaser B2C at CFT Recycling, you will play a vital role in acquiring vehicles from individual sellers while providing an exceptional customer experience. This role combines customer service, sales, and negotiation skills to efficiently quote, schedule, and coordinate vehicle removals. If you have a passion for people, cars, and building strong relationships, this role is for you.
The pay range for this position is $50,000 - $55,000 depending on your skills and experience.
In addition to base pay, this role includes a commission incentive. You will earn 5% of the gross profit on all vehicles purchased, with commission paid monthly (one month in arrears). Based on performance expectations, successful candidates can typically earn approximately $3,000–$6,000 per month in commission.
Key Responsibilities- Answer incoming calls to the Auto Recycling Department promptly and professionally
- Provide accurate quotes for vehicles and schedule removals
- Follow up with leads and use prospecting strategies to reach new clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including dealerships, repair shops, and private sellers
- Maintain accurate records of all leads in the company CRM
- Strategically negotiate with customers to close sales while ensuring satisfaction
- Identify customer needs and challenges to provide tailored solutions
- Achieve daily, weekly, and monthly activity and sales targets
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, with a strong understanding of vehicles and their key functional components.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Automotive knowledge or background is an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset
- Route planning or geographic proficiency is considered a strong asset
- Comfortable using CRM systems and other technical tools
