. The role focuses on building and managing relationships with veterinary clinics and farms across Eastern Ontario and the Atlantic Provinces. Candidates will leverage customer experience excellence, territory and account management, and strategic planning to drive sales of biologics and specialty pharmaceuticals for companion animals, beef, dairy cattle, equine, swine, and avian species.
- Meet annual net sales objectives for key growth products and the portfolio through demand generation within the assigned geography. Track progress monthly and account for promotional spending.
- Use the Customer Experience Excellence (CXE) model to engage customers, understand needs, build value, and advance the sale. Position products based on a Plan of Action (POA) and customer insights.
- Demonstrate knowledge of BIAH products, competitors, and clinical studies, and stay current on industry trends. Collaborate with Veterinary Technical Services (TVS) to increase product and disease knowledge.
- Adhere to communication requirements and effectively manage time and territory. Follow up with customers and cross‑functional partners, develop and review customer/ business plans, and record insights in CRM.
- Maintain account/customer data in CRM, manage expenses and regional event budgets, and identify decision‑makers within accounts/clinics.
- Show teamwork by sharing best practices, participating in meetings, and collaborating with team members and partners. Demonstrate leadership by setting a positive example.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards in compliance with the CAHI Code of Conduct and other BIAH SOPs.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum of 3 years sales experience, preferably in Animal Health.
- Track record of successful performance in prior roles.
- Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Business acumen, including account management and customer prioritization.
- Analytical and technology skills (CRM, MS Office, Outlook, smartphone).
- Self‑directed with a growth mindset and collaborative spirit.
- Ability to travel overnight.
- Valid provincial driver’s license and residence within the assigned territory.
- For Quebec‑based positions:
French and English language proficiency is required.
The position offers a competitive total rewards package with a salary range of $70,500 to $120,500. The compensation is based on experience and competency, with a variable sales‑incentive target of 25 % of base salary.
