SMPO Services Sales Specialist – System Z – IBM
The SMPO Services Sales Specialist will help develop solution strategies, sales plays, and present to client sponsors, including IT and Line of Business sponsors.
The role includes participating in multi‑disciplined solution teams, quarterly business reviews, and managing multiple opportunities concurrently.
Your Role And Responsibilities- Build Competitive Software Replace Solutions for clients.
- Provide guidance and leadership for a sales strategy that drives the closure of IBM Software and Services Solutions in Canada.
- Communicate with executive and management teams for forecasting accuracy and coordination.
- Build competitive replace win plans and ROI business cases.
- Work closely with software sellers, client teams, technical resources, and the broader IBM team to progress and close services engagements and opportunities.
- 5+ Years Sales Experience
- 5+ Years Mainframe/System Z Experience
- Excellent communication skills across functional teams and executive management, including the ability to communicate between technical and non‑technical contributors.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
