You’ll help bring our fresh food experience to life by combining exceptional customer service with a passion for quality craftsmanship. • Deliver warm, confident, and engaging customer service that reflects Farm Boy’s commitment to the best fresh shopping experience.
• Welcome, greet, and assist customers using Farm Boy Service Standards while sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm for our products.
• Learn and develop meat cutting skills by working alongside a trained Meat Cutter, supporting the preparation and presentation of products for the service case.
• Bring our commitment to quality to life by preparing, cutting, and merchandising meat products that meet presentation, freshness, and food safety standards.
• Package, stock, and rotate display counters and shelves to ensure products are well-finessed, accurately signed, and of the highest quality.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work, storage, and service areas through regular housekeeping, equipment maintenance, sanitizing, sweeping, and mopping.
• Follow all corporate policies and procedures with particular focus on Health & Safety, Food Safety, HACCP compliance, and proper equipment use.
• Complete designated opening and closing procedures and provide support to fellow Team Members as needed.
• Assist the leadership team with operational duties, including inventory counts and supply ordering.
• Take on additional responsibilities on a periodic basis to support overall department operations.

• A minimum of 1 year of related experience in a similar role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• The ability to work independently while taking pride in exceptional quality, attention to detail, and cleanliness standards.
• Strong teamwork skills, thriving in a collaborative environment through clear communication and organization.
• A clear and effective communication style, both written and verbal.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on setting that involves multiple deadlines, extended periods of standing, heavy lifting, repetitive movement or tasks, frequent use of protective equipment or clothing, and work that is frequently performed in colder environments.
• Flexibility to work a dynamic schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Fluency in English;
  French language skills considered an asset.
