Department Manager, Clothing, St. Laurent What You’ll Do
- Passion for sports and an active lifestyle.
- Experience with apparel merchandising standards.
- Positive, engaged attitude when dealing with customers and employees.
- Coaching and developing team members, setting expectations and providing constructive feedback.
- Leadership of the customer experience, developing relationships with customers.
- Building and managing a daily game and sales plan for the department.
- Creating development plans for full‑time staff to improve performance gaps.
- Communicating skills and progress through effective huddles, meetings and coaching sessions.
- Maintaining a positive work environment for staff.
- Business savvy with a customer‑focused mindset and ability to plan, execute, and drive sales.
- Leadership experience and passion for coaching and inspiring a team.
- Culture and brand ambassador who takes pride in the brand.
- Minimum of 2 years in a retail environment, preferably at a supervisory level.
- Proven track record of business growth and exceptional customer service skills.
- Demonstrated interest in or involvement in sports or the sporting goods industry (asset).

Our typical hiring range is between $36,800 and $55,200. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as experience, job‑related knowledge, skills and competencies, store size and market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role‑specific requirements.
