This position is part of a unionized bargaining unit. The hourly wage starts at $16.60 and is established in accordance with the collective agreement. A higher hourly wage may be offered based on relevant knowledge, skills, education, and prior experience, within the wage scale established for this position.

The Produce Clerk is responsible for the preparation of produce products for retail display and sale to customers in a safe and sanitary manner. The role also involves servicing Metro’s customers in a courteous, friendly and efficient manner.

• Preparing produce for retail display and sale.
• Stocking merchandise and creating displays.
• Maintaining product standards and sanitation.
• Serving customers in a courteous and friendly manner.
• Performing any other duties necessary to achieve Metro's business objectives.

• Customer service driven.
• Able to stock merchandise and create displays.
• Good product knowledge and attention to detail.
• Retail experience considered an asset.
• Able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be available for flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
