The In-Store Visual Manager will lead the visual merchandising efforts, ensuring brand standards are consistently applied across the store. They will collaborate with Store Managers to drive customer engagement, sales, and overall store performance while fostering a culture of excellence and continuous learning.

• Prepare and organize the stock team for shipment, placing product, and updating displays while participating in daily "campfire" meetings.
• Work closely with Store Managers to provide staff training on Roots culture, standards, and merchandising principles.
• Ensure product presentation drives sales and keeps customers engaged.
• Maintain store compliance with company standards using the Standards Guide and Field Guide.
• Manage seasonal merchandise changes and supervise seasonal window displays.
• Oversee daily shipments and ensure all product is placed on the sales floor.
• Build and maintain all visual displays, including mannequins, signage, and props.
• Conduct weekly business walkthroughs with the Store Manager.
• Oversee stockroom systems and structures, supporting replenishment and markdown processes.
• Train and develop team members across all skill levels.
• Communicate effectively and work well in a collaborative team environment.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Showcase excellent creativity and visual merchandising skills.

• Keen sense of fashion and style.
• Strong understanding of design principles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, to meet business needs.
• Experience in a retail apparel environment.

• Lifting and manual labour required.
• Able to carry up to 25 lbs.
