Akelius acquires, upgrades, and manages residential properties. Akelius owns rental apartments in New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Austin, Montreal, Quebec, Toronto, Ottawa, Paris, and London.

Akelius is seeking a customer service-focused and highly organized Property Administrator to support a portfolio of residential properties in Montreal. The successful candidate will assist with property maintenance coordination while ensuring compliance with legal requirements and Akelius standards.

• Manage the lease and legal administration process for the assigned portfolio
• Support the Property Manager
• Issue legal notices and manage corresponding deadlines
• Maintain organized filing systems for tenants
• Communicate professionally with tenants, business partners, and other stakeholders
• Build and maintain positive tenant relationships
• Process rent payments and cheque requisitions
• Prepare and distribute notices
• Prepare and issue lease renewals
• Attend hearings at the local tenant rental board

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, or Accounting is preferred, but we will consider other relevant combinations of experience and education.
• Experience in residential or commercial property administration is an asset
• Knowledge of Quebec or Ontario tenant laws is recommended
• Strong command of both French and English
• Knowledge and understanding of tenant board processes
• Superior organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask under competing deadlines
• Confidence in taking initiative, making decisions, and managing arrears
• Adaptable to an ever-changing environment
• Proficient in Yardi Voyager (an asset)

• annual salary range: $55,000 to $65,000
• Permanent full-time position
