Quality Assurance Project Specialist
Job Overview
The Quality Assurance (QA) Project Specialist is not only a proofreader of market research reports to be delivered to high-value clients, but also an assistant to the QA supervisor, helping to manage the workloads of our offshore editing team and ensuring that they are working effectively and delivering high‑quality results in a timely manner, meeting contractual and operational expectations.
This role demands strong attention to detail, excellent project coordination skills, and a passion for continuous improvement in client experience and report quality.
Responsibilities and Duties- As an individual contributor, you will proofread market research and audit reports for grammar, syntax, completeness, and compliance with client expectations.
- Assist the QA Supervisor in managing offshore editor workloads, dispatching assignments, tracking metrics, and approving invoices and timesheets.
- Investigate quality issues, working directly with independent contractors, auditors, and internal teams to resolve issues.
- Identify opportunities to streamline QA processes and improve report quality and client satisfaction.
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned to support the evolving needs of the QA department and client programs.
- High school diploma required; post‑secondary education preferred.
- Bilingual (English and French) is useful but not required.
- Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality work.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple editing projects simultaneously.
- Professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer‑service mindset.
- Comfortable delivering results in a busy environment and as an integral part of a cross‑functional team.
- Comfort in Microsoft Excel and other Office software.
- Strong desire to learn, adapt, and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated reliability in meeting deadlines.
