is currently welcoming a dependable and outgoing Veterinary Reception, Animal Care Attendant to join our team! This full-time opportunity includes a range of responsibilities which directly contribute to the efficient and effective daily operation of the hospital.
Take initiative and work independently
Excellent customer service skills; a real aptitude for putting pets and pet parents at ease and creating a welcoming environment
Comfortable with animal handling and husbandry
Ability to answer a multi-line phone system and track and book appointments effectively
Placing outbound calls to pet parents for follow-up and future appointment bookings
Scheduling appointments, admitting and discharging pet patients
Invoicing/billing; creating estimates, obtaining pet owner confirmation and processing payments
Veterinary Assistant (VA) or Veterinary Assistant Office Administration (VAOA) program certificate is an asset
