We have a fantastic opportunity for an RVT at Centretown and their pets in . We are a fully equipped, hospital dedicated to offering high quality medicine to our patients and excellent customer service to our amazing clients. We are looking to add a Full-time Registered Veterinary Technician to our fantastic team. If you are a compassionate and enthusiastic RVT interested in joining our team, we would love to hear from you!

• AHT/VT Diploma (New grads welcome!)
• Passion for what you do every day
• Enthusiasm, energy and a positive attitude
• A desire to educate and build solid relationships with clients
• Strong communication skills, both when dealing with clients and team members

As part of the medical team, you will play a key role in our fully equipped hospital and will utilize all of your skills, including:

• Working closely with the veterinarians as a team to provide the best care for our patients.
• Collecting samples and performing lab work - Complete Idexx in-house lab equipment
• Preparing patients for surgery and monitoring anesthesia
• Administering medications
• Discharging patients and providing post-operative care
• Filling prescriptions and making follow-up calls
• Experience with Avimark an asset
