Are you a passionate and experienced Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) looking for a rewarding career in a small animal clinic? Gillies Grove Animal Hospital in Arnprior, Ontario, is seeking an exceptional part-time RVT to join our team.

We are seeking an RVT who can act as the main technician in the clinic, confidently and independently handling various responsibilities even when the supervisor is away. Our team is fun, supportive, and actively involved in training new staff.

This position offers ample opportunities to fully utilize your skills and gain valuable experience in a supportive and close-knit team environment. You will have the chance to contribute directly to the day-to-day operations of the clinic and play a vital role in training new staff as our team grows.

We prioritize regular communication and hold monthly staff meetings to ensure that everyone is on the same page. Additionally, we organize team activities that provide opportunities for bonding and creating a positive work environment.

• Animal Health Technician / Veterinary Technician Diploma
• 2+ years' experience in a clinical setting
• Passed the VTNE or will soon be passing the VTNE
• Good standing with their provincial regulatory association

• Ability to work independently and take charge in the absence of the supervisor
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
• Quick learner and self-starter
• Ability to handle a variety of responsibilities with confidence and professionalism
