Position Summary:The Retention and Email Marketing Specialist at Bloomex is a crucial player in our digital marketing team, focusing on creating, executing, and optimizing email and SMS campaigns that engage customers and drive sales. This role combines creative communication skills with analytical abilities to develop targeted retention strategies that enhance customer loyalty, increase brand awareness, and contribute meaningfully to our marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:Email & SMS Campaign Management:
Design, implement, and manage email and SMS marketing campaigns from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with Bloomex’s brand voice, timing, and performance goals.
Segmentation and Personalization:Utilize customer data to segment email and SMS audiences and personalize messaging to maximize engagement and conversion. Experience with Klaviyo is preferred.
Performance Analysis:Monitor and analyze campaign performance across both email and SMS. Use data to guide improvements in messaging, timing, and targeting strategies.
Content Creation:Collaborate with the content and design teams to develop compelling, branded messaging and visuals tailored to target audiences.
List Management:Oversee the maintenance and growth of email and SMS subscriber lists, ensuring compliance with CASL, GDPR, and other anti-spam regulations.
Automation and Workflow:Implement and refine automation workflows for lifecycle marketing (e.g., welcome series, cart abandonment, win-back flows) across email and SMS.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with marketing, product, and customer service teams to ensure a cohesive and integrated customer communication strategy.
Qualifications and Requirements:Proven experience in email marketing, with a portfolio of successful campaigns; SMS marketing experience is a strong asset
Strong understanding of email/SMS platforms (Klaviyo preferred) and marketing automation tools
Excellent copywriting and communication skills, with a focus on persuasive, on-brand messagingProficient in analytics and reporting tools, with the ability to extract actionable insights from data
